TURNAROUND TIME
Painting horses in oils in not a fast process, but it is a rewarding process. You acheive color and durability like no other medium. I give my creations ample time to dry between each stage before moving on. Therefore please allow 8 months to one year for most customs, more complex patterns will be longer, before your commission is complete from the day I begin work. This process cannot be rushed to ensure the best quality of work. I love getting to know each piece's personality as I work on them, and I am dedicated to give you the absolute best piece I can possibly create. I do not rush the process or like to be rushed, so If you are looking for a fast turnaround my pieces may not be for you.

PREPPING
Minimal prep work is included in the price. Do not send models with excessive prep work. All pinholes, seams, repairs, etc. should be taken care of before I receive the model.

PAYMENT POLICIES
A Non-Refundable Deposit of 50% is due immediately upon being accepted as a commission for pieces over $500. 30% is due for pieces less than $500. I accept money orders and PayPal. No checks. Complete payment is due within two weeks (14 days) of owner being notified of completion.
TIME PAYMENTS must be discussed prior to being accepted for a commission.
NON PAYMENT: If no contact/complete payment is sent after a month of completing a commission the item will become property of the artist and any money invested will be non-refundable. Whole transaction will be void. BY HIRING CREATIONS BY CANDICE TO COMPLETE A COMMISSION YOU AUTOMATICALLY AGREE TO THESE TERMS.

REPAIRS
Should there be an unfortunate incedent, paint job repairs are available for the original commissioner for the cost of shipping only. Pieces that are no longer owned by the originating requester are available for a fee.

COPYRIGHT AND DISCLAIMER
All paint jobs on customs and resins will remain the work of the artist (Candice McCown). No modification, addition of (paint or other medium), or distortion of any of my completed repainted and/or re-sculpted models, which falls within my VARA law rights. If you wish to re-due and/or repair and/or touch-up a completed model that I have painted or re-sculpted please contact me first so I know of your intentions with the piece. Since I do not do repairs on completed customs I will need to grant permission to get the piece repaired first. Once the piece Do not try to pass a model I have completed off as a creation of your own.
